Daniel Galeed
The dawn sky colored the atmosphere with bright, vivid colors intermingled..orange, light blue with light twinges of red..the clouds, peacefully moving along in the natural course, dictated by the winds. It was something the young Nephalim loved to view..there was nothing more beautiful then a sunrise that captivated the hearts of those inspired by such radiance. If there was one thing he could've compared the sunrise to..it was the warm, loving smile of his parents..however, since his fathers 'death'..his mother hadn't really been smiling as she used to. Hell..even he held a straight face most of the time..but then again, he blamed his fathers angellic blood for that. A thought..that brought a smirk to his lips..weary, uneased..as well as a single tear, trickling down the young mans cheek.
Sitting upon a tree branch with one leg bent at the knee, touching upon his chest..the other, dangling downwards and swaying..the young Daniel Galeed couldn't help but find himself thinking about the past. The nightmares from Lucifer..almost being drained of his blood completely by Ashleigh Van Carter..and then, a moment in time that he just..couldn't remember..but whatever happened, it left him with a whopper of a scar on his chest. But now wasn't the time to think about that..having spoken with, and having followed..the one calling himself Milenko..he was both assured..and confused, at the same time. The man had the familiarity..but, his mind..it was a jumble. Like a single grain of sand amidst a raging sandstorm..there wasn't anything he could've done to concentrate on one particular detail of the mans psyche. That much..bothered him to no end..
Standing from the branch..it was time to put that aside for awhile..because now, he had to go meet his mother. He missed her greatly..her kindness..her warmth..and her company was always welcomed. Leaning forward with his hands spread at full length at his sides..falling from the branch with his eyes closed..he'd sigh softly. Inches..literally inches..before hitting the ground, his body 'burst' into a jumbled mass of white and black feathered birds..doves and ravens..that flew off towards the distance, in the direction of the convent that his mother had returned to.
Once overhead of said convent..that mingled cloud of feathers would land upon the ground, 'melding' into the earth itself seemingly..and from that joined shadowy glob..a figure began to emerge from. Thick, inky blobs of white and black fell off his figure, only to meld into a perfectly dual colored white and black robe, covering over his face, shadows sticking within the hood further masking him. Not a word was spoken as he began walking towards the convent..his mind though, reaching outwards in gentle waves..his inner thoughts, stretched outwards in a soft, harmonious tone..touching the minds of those there. ~It is Daniel, sisters..I've come to visit my mother~

Sitting in the dark and gloomy chapel, she stared at the statue of Mary holding her son in Her arms, a small smile on her lips remembering when she also was holding Shakaar son in her arms. Her hands clasped as if she prayed, asking Daniel is well and succeed to find his father. Beatrice is still beautiful, it is obvious that these years of suffering has hardened her smile, but she never lost the sweetness or the love she had for him, the great and greatest love of her life. After all, that man was the love of her life, because he had given her Daniel. Beatrice’s eyes are bluer, brighter, only because she knew Shakaar might still be alive, but even more to know that his son was safe. Her mind full of memories, when they first met, the wedding day, the arrival of Daniel. People and friends they had. She also remembered well, when everything changed, when he left. With a sigh she closes her eyes sending those bad memories away and covers her face with both hands, whispering "My God, my Father, My Lord , Why didn’t make me forget everything, I wish it was me the one to forget ... Daniel would find his father and all would be well again, Shakaar would never leave him alone again. She gets up as soon as the door opens and Sister Dulce appears, "Beatrice, my dear, cover your face, get out and come to feed. For too long you're there, God also needs rest." with a sweet voice the old lady talks to her. Bea gets up and walks to the door, her face covered by a black veil, but the light reflecting makes her eyes shine through it. Her eyes move into the hall, where some sisters seem nervous and distressed and then the Mother Superior walks toward her and Sister Dulce quickly, she seems furious. Beatrice’s heart stops for a few seconds, and a chill runs through her spine. She leaves the chapel and the Mother Superior shouts, "Beatrice, go to your quarters, someone wants to see you." Bea nods and goes to her room wondering wondering what is to come ... After she closes the door behind her. She looks at the left side of her bed, where the wedding ring is being stored on the cable of the immortal blue rose, a gift from her former husband the night that Daniel was born, and the photo of Daniel hand-painted by an unknown artist. She listens to knock on the door and turns staring as the door opens.

When the door opened..in, he walked..covered in a drape of blackest midnight..but, with subtle splooches of white that seemed to glimmer ever so delicately. His hood covered over his head..but, the moment he saw his mother..he quickly removed the hood. "Mother" he said softly, then made his way to her and threw his arms around her in a gentle hug. How he missed her..it was disheartening..having left her just to go on a search for his father..but it was something he felt that needed to be done. He couldn't accept that his father was just...gone..and now, he didn't have to anymore..at least, he felt strongly towards such a notion. His psychic abilities were almost never wrong..this time, he was hoping it wasn't the rare exception. "I've missed you, Mother..and I'm sorry I left you for so long..please, forgive me" His eyes kept focused on her and her alone..though, her rooms decorations were indeed lovely..they weren't what he was there to see. Hard to believe so long ago..he was a child. "How have you been, Mother..well, I hope. The sisters have been good to you, I'm sure..they always were, from what I could sense from them"
Part of him wanted to relay a kindling of good news..that perhaps, he found his father, her husband..but, until he was absolutely sure over such a knowledge..he wasn't going to give her a false hope. That..'Milenko'..there were pieces and fragments of his scattered memory..synanymous with many details of their old life. However..putting said pieces back together..would've been an endeavor he would've had to avoid. If Milenko truly were his father..then his memories were scattered by something even more powerful then him..and he felt that only a truly powerful psychic could've restored such memories. Though he did have the untapped potential..he was still learning..
"It's so good to be back here, Mother.." he'd state, letting a smile run along his lips..trying not to appear worried or thoughtful over his past thoughts.."And I'm starving..do you know how long a flight I had to undertake to get here! I could eat an entire hog, mother..no lie, I could!"

As the door opens she smiles slightly as she sees her son, slowly pulling back the veil covering her face. She remains in silence. Daniel comes to her arms and she holds him close, gently, caressing his back. After sometime she pulls back and looks into his eyes, she knows already he is hiding something, and worried as well, he has the same eyes Shaakar had, same look, same bright, the way their eyes transform when they are worried about something, she smiles softly and a little more as he speaks. Gently caressing his face, his expression, so handsome is her son, a man already, and then she caresses his hair as he talks to her, sighs and nods as he says he is hungry. Slowly she walks over to the little round table close to the door and touches the golden bell; the tinkles fill the place once so quiet. In less than a minute Sister Dulce walks in “Yes, dear Beatrice, What can I do for you?”, gently Beatrice walks over to the wooden desk closer to the fireplace and writes a note, asking her to bring food to her son, the woman gently smiles and looks at Daniel…”My young man, your mother is saying you are hungry, sorry, but the convent’s meal is poor, we only have vegetables soup, corn bread and milk. We also have wine but Father Gladson doesn’t like when we drink, she giggles, but I will see what I can do for you.” She looks at Bea and smiles even more, “He is really handsome as you told me, I believe he will brake millions of hearts, poor girls around, some young sister are already excited” she giggles again and looks at Daniel. “Daniel, right?”, she nods twice…”Your mother made the vow of silence, she can’t say a word until something she asked to Our Father” she points up as she means God, “well, she asked something and she will speak as soon as her wish comes true, but don’t worry, I believe since you are already here her silence will be broken as soon as we think…” the woman smiles again and leaves the room, Beatrice watches her son and smiles as she does. Gently gets close to him and gives him a little note. “What is it that is making you so worried? Why your eyes are shinning as you are hiding something from me, did you find your father?” Beatrice walks over to the round table and points Daniel a chair, she also sits as they wait for his meal. In front of her the inkwell ,fountain and papers, also, lots of books , as Daniel can see Beatrice has been writing a lot in her diaries. She sighs and keeps her eyes on her son. She takes one of his hand on hers and gently caresses his fingers.

It seemed he wasn't as adept at hiding things as he had originally hoped..but then again, this was his mother. After the nightmares..it was like..she knew at all times when he was holding back..or concerned. He should've expected it..chalking it up to her keen motherly instinct. However..he had thought of a few ways to hopefully throw her off the trail. He didn't want to lie to her..thus why, the subject of the possibility of having found his father, her husband..was kept secret. Better to keep it hidden until he was absolutely sure..that way, on the off chance he was wrong..there was no false hope.
When the nun came into the room and began talking, he smiled as sweetly as he could, even running his fingers through his hair..an old habit of his when he was a child..and snickered softly with a blush to his cheek. Handsome...oh, he thought he looked okay..he felt himself as noone special to deserve such a compliment. "Thank you, Sister..but, I'm..not all that good looking. There are others that God has graced with looks far superior to how I compare" When she spoke of food..he became alittle..ashamed, to have so openly blurted out about his hunger to his mother, when it might've taken away from the sisters and their supplies. "Just a small portion of corn bread would do, sister..I don't want to be a burden to you or the others here"
Having figured that his mother had taken a vow of silence..he'd nod to her as he'd look to her again, walking to a chair close to his mother and taking a seat. He figured that his mother would only once again speak..when Shakaar had returned to her..a guess, was all it was..he didn't want to invade his mothers mind just to confirm it. He trusted and loved her dearly..and would support her decision accordingly. When he read the paper she wrote on, he'd sigh softly and pat her hand with his own several times. "I was worried about how you were doing while I was gone, Mother..that's all. Everything else is fine..and will be fine, especially now that I know you're doing well an..." The question about his father..the one he truly hoped she wouldn't have asked..but, she did. Not wanting to lie..he kept a straight face and cool demeanor, shaking his head slowly. "No, Mother..I'm afraid I haven't found him yet..but, I won't stop looking for him, I promise you" Not exactly a lie..but not the entire truth, either. He wasn't about to fill her with a false hope, only to shatter her if his theory about Milenko proved false. "You've taken up writing in your journal, Mother? That's good..and I hope you haven't confined yourself to your room. Please tell me you get out and about.." His eyes, filled with a hushed concern..stared into hers..

a blustered wind soaring through the air, clouds split left spinning in the wake and some even caused to form into storms in the swiftness and change of the air elementals humanly impossible movement through the sky. With the movement, there was no sight, other than the event of weather suddenly being altered, of the Darkheart assassin. and entire villages in her path were forced to close their doors out of fright of various gods becoming angered. Thus, when the Convent that Daniel and his mother Beatrice was next to encounter the weather, she'd circle the compound and then blur down toward the ground. Upon her landing she'd smile with a cheshire grin and hold her hands out to focus and create a mass of two aerial energy orbs.
As the winds picked up over the outside of the convent, leaves rustled in the manner of an unnatural storm building, tree limbs sway and fall as a whirlwind of dust and leaves are lifted and carried to the doors of the convent. Upon their arrival, bangs could be heard inside heavy and booming through the halls. Only as the bangs echo'd the movement of the air carried the sounds of a soft heavily accented woman's voice, "Galeed....Galeed... Stay where you are Galeed. This place of man's religion is not safe Galeed.. Your savior is here, Galeed." With the sudden actions taking place, she didn't manifest herself right away, infact the moments the doors opened a blast of wind made sure to snuff out candles and leave the only light to be held outside as she appeared, her body only an outline to the rest of the seeing eyes present. At that moment she'd seem to look around as she spoke, her voice the same as the one that flowed effortlessly through the convents walls before. "Where is the boy sired, Galeed and his Mother? I must speak with them both. It is a matter of their safety. This place of man's religion is not safe, others will come who seek their harm.."

Bea's eyes meet her son's as she smiles, her heart full of love because he is a man now, inside he is exactly as his father and she smiles a little more, caressing his hand on hers. She sighs and nods as she writes down.."Daniel, my handsome and beloved son, I've been writing on my diaries, every single day since your father left me, and it makes me not become so heavy, makes me speak all that my lips can't say anymore. If something happen to me, here you will find all that happened between Shakaar and I, since the first day we met. I don't know what happened out there with you when you were looking for him but I am sure something changed since you left. Maybe he doesn't want to be found, maybe he doesn't even know who he is, maybe he is living by himself as a poor man and being only a regular person lonely in this world. But I know him, and he is , somehow, looking for something he has no clue about. No matter what you do, no matter what you feel, even your father returns and find us, don't make sad , but he doesn't belong to me anymore. I want him to return for you, I don't believe my heart is able to forgive him, still I want him to be here. To love and guide you as your father, since he had no time to do it when the stupid war came. I trust you my son with all my heart, my soul, my entire body was always yours , every breath, every beat of my heart. I feel dead even being here. I wake up every morning for you, because since you were in my belly there wasn't more important thing to me. But , when the times come and God gives me the chance to see you two together again, I feel that I need to leave, there is no reason anymore to be here, in this world, in dark and sad world I live now. Forgive me my Daniel, when the right moment comes, you will describe me what you saw and felt out there, for now we will enjoy each other company, as well I'll take care of you a little more, because even being a man now you are still my flesh and bones, love you Daniel, and God loves you as well." As she finishes the letter she moves the paper right in front of him and smiles, but somehow she feels strange. The room becomes a little more dark, as she hears the wind 'singing' outside. Gently she places his hand aside and stands, walking to the window, covering her face as she looks outside through the glass, at same time her heart almost stops as she realizes what is going on, something or someone was trying to communicate to them, the sisters outside are running from side to side lost. Sister Dulce opens the door and walks in pale, carring the tray with some food , water and wine, placing it close to Daniel. Bea turns away and looks at her, something is really wrong, Beatrice sighs and shakes her head. She grabs her necklace with the 'S', she has since her wedding and a crucifix together with one hand. Sister Dulce once so talktive was now quiet and leaves the room soon closing the door. Bea starts to pray as she tries to light the candles all around , but even with the window closed the whispers "Galeed" inside the room keeps blowing the flames away. Shivering she asks God to have more time with Daniel, to have more moments as a mother. She approches of Daniel and sits down , taking his hand inside hers again, shaking her head as she is asking him to not to hear the call, asking him to stay with her, in her room, as she does the Mother Superior opens the door and her face is a mix of fear and angry.." Someone is here...and say she needs to meet you and your son.." the room becomes dark as the tears already starts to roll down her face...even covered with the black viel, Bea's eyes are so blue as the rose Shakaar gave to her..and its bright was able to be seen because of the stubborn tears she had sweared she wouldn't let fall again. "Was not a good idead this boy come here, he is also son of the Devil and brought it with him..." Lifting her chin and holding Daniel hand so hard she could break it Beatrice stands...as the whisper captures their ears again...What is fate reserving for them now?...The door of the church slams because of the wind and Bea looks at Daniel and nods. (ooc - forgive some typos ...I will read it and correct them )

Everything his mother had written down..he read..and despite his own personal feelings about his father..he had to respect his Mother. She spoke her heart..and deep down, he could understand exactly how she felt about his father. Closing the diary once he was done reading her writing, then placing it on her nightstand..he nodded to her slowly, those soft eyes of his looking right at her. How he hated keeping something from her..but, given what she wrote..perhaps, it was for the best. Afterall..part of him hadn't exactly forgiven his father for leaving them alone..but, deep down..he felt that if it happened, then it was for a good reason. "Mother..don't worry..I'm sure whatever it is he's looking for out there, he'll find. Maybe when he does..he'll come back to you. You say you can't forgive him, Mother..but..maybe, just maybe..you'll find it somewhere, deep down in your heart.." It was at that time that the old nurse brought in the food..however, it was also when he began to sense something..ominous..
The calling of 'Galeed' certainly didn't help the case of omnicity that was dwelling..thus why, when the voice began to ring around the room..he stood to his feet quickly, toppling the chair he sat on over. Psionic flames began to spark in his eyes..he didn't like such a thing happening..but what was worse..was that it was in a house of God..a house his mother resided in. The only thing to have taken his attention away from said 'ghostly' voice..was the Mother Superior..a woman he'd seen once or twice, and spoke to a few times. Now..she herself was accusing him of something he hasn't done..at least, to his knowledge! "Mother Superior..I am not born of the Devil..he may have tainted me when I was younger..but..I swear, I brought nothing that I know of here!"
Part of him wanted nothing more then to run to his mother for 'protection'..but, from Mother Superiors accusations as well as the ghostly voice..but, he had to show he was just as strong and brave as his father Shakaar..and this, was a good time for it. Nodding to his mother after he saw her nod to him, his hand went onto his right temple..and, softly..his voice echoed outwards..~You call for the Galeeds..and Daniel Galeed answers. Who are you..and what do you want? Show yourself..these nuns are no threat to you~

Dukal came to a halt just shy of the convent's grounds. Fortunately for him, the grounds' consecration wouldn't harm him if he were to step foot on them, thanks to his half-human heritage. As he'd ran, he'd sensed the heightened emotions Nathallie was giving off, but couldn't take the time to return and see what was going on back at the Inn. Unfortunately, this was a bit more important. He would just have to trust that things would work themselves out for the best.
He sniffed the air, then looked at the outline of the woman he spotted. Thankfully for her, since she wasn't fully manifested, the consecration wouldn't harm her either. He then concealed himself nearby, listening intently.

Dukal's hooded head snapped up and he turned toward the west, eyes seeking something far beyond the horizon. A very rare expression...indeed, one that may never have crossed his features before...emerged in his eyes: pure dread. "Oh, no..." he whispered.
He moved past the womanly presence he'd been observing, heading to the convent. The hallowed ground, the blessings performed on the very earth his feet trod upon, had such a small effect on his kind that there was barely a wisp of smoke that emerged from his form as he went to the convent's door. His powerful fist pounded on the thick wood urgently three times. "If you don't open the door, if you don't let me in, you will all be slaughtered. Each and every single one of you. Danger is approaching. Danger unlike anything you could wish to ever face."

Beatrice turns away and walks over to the window, raising a brow as she watches the man in the main door, she was pretty sure that was smoke emerging from his body, tilts her head a little , she couldn't hear what the man was saying, then a sister comes into the bedroom, "Please , there is a man as well and he is knocking really hard, and he is saying he needs to come in, the sisters are very nervous ...Bea turns and looks at the sister, and then to the Superior Mother, she sighs and goes on her knees, praying.."Father, forgive for what I am about to do, but I believe I will need to break my silence's vow, for a good reason, I will need my voice to communicate , please let me know you allowing me to do it, please Father, if you accept to extricate me from it, send me a sign..please..." She stands and looks at the Superior Mother, at same time the cricifix suspended by the door falls down and breaks, as a sign Beatrice needs...she sighs deeply and covering her head she looks at her son and then runs out of the room and then downstairs, crossing the Saints lobby, Bea feels as all those images were observing her and whispering against what she was about to do. Bea runs over to the huge door , her hand on the lock, covering her face as much as she can she opens the door, the translucent veil that covers her face isn't able to hide the blue bright that comes from her eyes, she watches the dark figure in front of her, as she hopes that the male figure is her former husband..."Welcome myLord, my name is Sister Beatrice, how can I help?" the husky voice was low and very sweet, like a voice of an angel, bringing peace and a feeling of comfort, after her the Mother Superior appears as well Sister Dulce, both were terrify hearing Bea was speaking again.."Come on in, please", Bea nods as she opens the heavy door allowing the strange to come in...

As soon as the doors opened, Dukal gently, yet firmly, grasped the upper arms of the woman speaking to him, pushing her further inside as he shut the door behind him. After ensuring she wouldn't fall first, he released her and pushed back his hood, revealing his almost too-beautiful for a human's features. "Stay inside," he said urgently. "Lady Beatrice, I presume? If so, I have much to tell you, but much must be said in private. Suffice to say for now that many of your prayers are going to be answered quite soon. As well, there is danger coming, danger to you all, but to you in especial. You are key to...well, to quite a bit, actually. Is there somewhere we can talk in private? And, is there someone you can trust that would keep you safe no matter the cost?"

Was so fast she wasn't able to think, as the man pulls the hood back some disappointment could be seen into her eyes as he reveals he wasn't who she thought, breathing she looks at the man paying attention at his words and then to the sisters, slowly, Beatrice nods, "Yes, I am Beatrice, please, come with me, I have a room in here that I use to go to stay alone and write, about someone I can trust, I've been living here for a long time, MyLord." she shakes her head.."I...I can't tell...I don't think there is a place for me to go but here". She looks at the sisters and then she talks to sister Dulce.."Please, tell Daniel I am in the particular room, ask him to meet me there as soon as possible..." She looks at the man,"What is you name, MyLord? Please come to me..." Bea nods to the sisters and walks over to the Saint lobby again, fast, then suddenly she turns left and goes down in a narrow circular stair and then she opens the door and walks in, going right to a little table she grabs a paraffin lamp and light it in the hallway returning back to the room and closing the door.."Sir, alright, we can talk in here..."Slowly Beatrice pulls the veil back and gives him a slightly smile..."You said many of my prayers are going to be answered...I am really confuse"..placing the lamp over the table, the place getting some light, the man could see lots of books , like diaries, some beautiful old women clothes, like a life that was left behind. There was all the life this woman had left back, when she got to Saint Joseph for the first time...

Dukal followed the woman closely, his footfalls silent, hinting at his nature...aside from the other signs. He felt the effects of the blessed grounds as an unpleasant tingling along every cell of his body, but he did not allow the pain to show.
Once in the room, he stood with his back against it and said, "You once knew, at least knew of at any rate, my half-brother, Drokon. Like him, I am a dhampir, a half-breed. More than that is beside the point. I am called Dukal Lee, and I bring to you news that your beloved, Shakaar, is still yet alive. He was reborn in the form of a mortal named Milenko. I believe he once went by that name many years ago during his first incarnation as a mortal. This time, he has no true memory of who or what he was. But, the Above willing, he will soon. However, the danger that approaches is far more important. All the evil that he had done, all the stains upon his spirit that were the result of his sins, were transposed upon the soul of a mortal, one that he resurrected at the end of the war against Ludious. That mortal is now approaching. I do not know the identity of the tainted one, but I do know that one of his or her principal motivations will be to kill you. You and all others in the vicinity. But, you, especially, will be their target, because you were the reason all that evil was submerged into Shakaar's subconscious. That person, whoever they are, will wield power that far exceeds whatever normal limits they had. Think of it this way...Milenko received the good half of Shakaar, some unfortunate soul received the evil half.
"And that half is coming for you. And, if it is true that Shakaar's son Daniel is here, it will be coming for him as well. You must hide, else all that could possibly be good in your beloved will die with you and your son."

She listens the man carefully, even the news about her beloved , her heart was full of hope, since he will be able to be with his son, but was so many things to think, someone was coming for them, she nods as he finishes and then she walks around for a brief moment thinking..."Sir Dukal" she smiles gently as her words are strong but soft at same time..."I believe the most important thing I have is my son, the seed of a great and beautiful love, but this love is not longer able to live anymore, to know the biggest love of an entire life is alive made me really happy, but I feel happy for my son, he needs his father...so I may say...Take my son away, protect him from the evil, If I stay they will have what they want and then my son and his father will have sometime together." she smiles as she walks around the room her hand touches the things around, books , clothes, boxes..."All this , everything in here was part of a great life, and seems it is time ...I have been living here for so long , I prayed, asked, promissed, worshiped...I believe it is time to let them take me away, it is part of my punishment , because I knew what he was and I loved him with all my soul because it didn't matter to me." she smiles as she thinks about their past.."I just want to see him once again..and then you must ask him to take Daniel away from here....and I will come to this room and wait ...it will give them sometime ..and they can run away.." she looks at the man..."Would do that for me? Let me see him once again, do not say who I am ..but let him know Daniel is his son... and take them away..." she nods as she looks inside Dukal's eyes...
