Nightingale Inn is a slightly medieval looking place, wooden walls, wooden door, you get the point, inside there is a row of wooden counters, the bartender attends the drinks, there are stools set in front of the counters, behind the counters (where the bartender is) are shelves which hold shot glasses and a row of mahogany drawers, on top of these drawers are beverages, inside is empty. Next, there is the fireplace, a raging fire burns there, a bard sits beside the fire, singing songs, sometimes the other guests may sing along, clapping. There are often fights, which is started by the drunk guests, but they stop briefly. there is a room beside the fireplace containing tables and seats, these are for food and drink. Back to the main place, there are wooden stairs leading to a small hallway of rentable rooms, the low-class rooms reserved for people who can't afford the high-class rooms, the high-class rooms reserved for the people who can afford them or nobles. In the hallway there is a red carpet laid out and a few artistic paintings pinned to the wall. A paint of her, her name craved in wood "Ellena" and as well a message you can read.."Be yourself at home".
She lives here , it's also her home...

The chill night wind blew in through the door as it opened quietly, carrying with it an indescribably eerie aura that emitted from the black-cloaked figure that strode in calmly. The way each patron fell silent and looked in his direction, trying to peer into the shadowed recesses of the hood over his head, it was apparent that they felt the ineffably weird sensation drift across the nape of each of their necks. He closed the door silently behind him, then approached the bar. Every eye in the place seemed follow him, fear tinging their countenances. Some few brave, or perhaps foolish, men fingered their weapons as though they meant him harm, but a single turn of the man's head toward them rocked them back in their seats. The stranger had had no need to even touch the ivory-hilted sword or the dagger that dangled from his belt.
He took a seat on the wooden stool, producing a single copper coin from his belt and dropping it on the bar's counter-top. A stone so blue that it rivaled the cerulean of the most beautiful daytime sky became visible as the cloak parted; garments as black as the cloak were also visible. "Water," was the only thing he said, the sound of his voice being what one could only describe as "rusty". Once the requested glass of water was produced and placed before him by the shaking hand of the bartender, the stranger brought forth a small vial and opened it. What followed next sent many of the women into hysterics, and more than a few men found their most recent drinks and meals brought back up from their bellies into their mouths.
Positioning the vial over the opening of the glass, the man tipped it carefully, his well-manicured...but somehow still powerful-looking...hands holding it steady as two small drops of a viscous liquid so dark that they appeared to be nearly brown dropped into the water. As they did, the drops spread out and diffused in the water, revealing their true crimson hue. Once the liquid had completely changed, the stranger restoppered the vial and put it away, then lifted the glass to his lips, his head tilting back far enough that his features finally came into view. His Adam's apple bobbed as he drank down the water...seemingly turned into blood by the liquid...at a single quaff. Indeed, the water was changed to blood by the droplets. The vial's contents was a concentrated mixture of blood and other nutrients necessary for what the young man truly was. After taking his sustenance, the man put the glass down and gave an easy breath, then his dark eyes flicked back and forth as he took in the reaction of the people surrounding him, a smile so faint that it would be difficult to swear it had even existed playing around his lips.
With his left hand, the man swept the cloak's hood from his head, shaking free his long black hair. Now fully revealed, the man looked to be no more than 18 or 19, barely more than a kid. But, something about him, perhaps the distant sadness in his eyes now that his ever-so brief amusement disappeared, belied that assumption of his age. Producing another copper, he said to the bartender, who, it seemed to the stranger, had a strange reaction to his consumption of the blood: none whatsoever, "Shangri-La Wine." As he waited for his wine, the stranger looked about calmly.

From the back where she is Ellena closes her eyes and shivers, taking a deep breath she holds it, after sometime she releases her breath as she does again not holding the air this time, trying to feel the scent from the man who just walked in her place. She opens her eyes, the grey orbs now are magenta, her fangs ready to come out, , she frowns and lifts her brow at same time, his steps filling her head as he approaches the bar, one by one touching the wooden floor. Shivering and she hears “Water” as well the commotion coming from the major salon, the disgust of the costumers. Her throat growls but there were no sound, as the scent of the drops he is dropping into the glass capture her nose. Ellena’s (Nathallie) head was about blank to the ones who tried to read her mind, thanks to the day she was sired, she was able to hide thoughts, her presence and emotions from everyone, even the stronger is not able to do it. Slowly , as soon as she hears the last drop going into his throat Ellena breaths calmly and then Lory appears desperate, “Lady Ellena…” as the girl was about to tell her all what happened there Ellena places one finger over the girl’s mouth…”Shhhhh” asking the girl to be quiet. Her lips moves but there is no sound... “I know”, she nods and the girl bows as Ellena order her to go to the kitchen with a wave smiling gently, trying not to scare the girl, no one of her serves know about her real identity but the bartender Hans, as well no one knows about her being not a mortal as they are. Ellena turns away, bared feet moving slowly as she is floating, with bracelets around her ankles (as in the picture). She has always hated shoes unless it was really needed, it’s one of her mainly features. She appears as the door from the back of the balcony opens, beautiful, wearing a colorful dress, a red ruby necklace matching with the red dress fabric background color. V-necks revealing enough to let them know about her sculpted forms. Young, grey eyes shining as not faceted diamond. Long and red curly hair falling around her shoulders, the bang held by a tiara of fresh little red flowers, she approaches. Moving as she was dancing a slightly smile over her lips. Ellena’s hand touches her bartender’s one as he is going to get the bottle, stopping him, “No worries Hans, I’ll serve this one, Annabelle needs you in the kitchen with the wood for the oven". Already with the bottle of wine in hands she moves away and smiles placing it and a crystal goblet on the balcony, opening the bottle pouring it as she watches the red liquid filling the glass. Her voice is sweet, low and husky “Good Evening Sir, my name is Ellena, this is my place and I am your tender from now”. She smiles as her eyes moves inside his. White bright teeth revealing an amazing warmth as she does. “I noticed you dripped something in this glass, is there something wrong with my water?” People around were watching her, Ellena was very seductive and some of those men around were already “snacks” for her, she drinks but she doesn’t have the need to kill, she waves for some of them as she waits for him to answer. Full of herself, young but strong at same time, she smiles and nods from another group over the right corner and then looks back over him. Not even a sign of emotion, feelings or thoughts. “What brings you to this part of the forest?” “Work, maybe?” the smile not leaving her lips, some costumers murmuring by her presence, as she was like a celebrity around the place. With the back of her right hand she moves the bottle aside and places her elbows on the wood, placing her chin over her crossed fingers, her scent was wonderful, fruits and flowers filling the place, red lips smile over him as she waits for some information about the stranger.

Dark eyes flicked over the woman as she entered, nostrils flared slightly as the stranger inhaled her scent. Without moving a muscle, he took in the reactions of those around him upon her appearance. After a moment to allow the stirrings behind him to settle, the stranger said, "The water was fine. I just needed to add a little something to it that would make it easier for me to ingest it." Taking the wine glass and holding it on the counter-top with his left hand, leaving the right free, he added, "Thank you for taking such a direct interest, Ellena. As for why I am here, it is not paying work that brings me here, though I am in search of such."
Swirling the wine gently in the goblet, he said, "Perhaps someone of your nature could understand the strictures I face in gaining employment. Not many would employ one such as I outside of Hunting work. I am called Dukal. It is my pleasure to meet one such as you." Surely, the stresses he placed on certain phrases would hint to her that he knew exactly what she was, as well as the fact that he was not quite as he appeared to be, himself.

Shivers as the stranger say her name, in such a way she can swear he knows she is Nath already. But she doesn't remember him from her past , but well, too many person used to go to her mansion. She didn't move an inch until he stops talking to her, then gently she stands and nods.."One of mine kind? Interesting,Sir." she says no more about it, she turns away and gets herself a goblet filling it , she drinks, "Well, I could help with the work part, I need someone strong to take care of these drunk men, what do you think? We have, close to the stalls, a little house the serves use to sleep, also they have food. I give them some money as well, they aren't my slaves, so....Think about it, a Hunter is always need." Smiles gently as she sips a little of the wine. "Everything is new for me here as well, I've been here for a little months now, so you are free to decide." she lifts her goblet in a toast, greeting him, "Dukal, if you forgive me now, I will talk to some customers." she nods gracefully and walks over a full table, smiling and talking to the people over there. The men and women absolutly hypnotized by her moviments, the incredible power she has over people is really amazing as he can see and she doesn't use any magic or her nature powers for it, it just the way she really is.

If someone could look deep into the shadowed recesses of his mind, they would find a flicker of amusement at Ellena's offer of employment as a sort of "clean-up crewman". Without letting his amusement show, he merely shook his head slightly, then watched as she moved around the tavern, still not yet taking a drink of the wine. Once she moved away, he murmured, "I don't think the girl realizes what I meant by 'Hunter'. I think she thinks that I am a simple huntsman, searching for animals to hunt. Well, in a way, I suppose I might be, if one were to consider her kind as animals."
Finally taking the smallest of sips from the wine, more to wet his mouth than to actually swallow it, he returned to letting his gaze wander about the patrons, seeming to focus particularly on their necks. He actually had no interest in the woman, but was merely letting her know that he was around, and that she'd better remain on her best behavior. Willing 'donations' were one thing, if she were to attack someone without their being complicit with her needs...well, perhaps he'd be functioning as a type of bouncer after all.

Ellena's eyes touch Dukal's , she doesn't smile this time, if he really knows who she is he wouldn't murmur behind her back, she nods again, and then smiles slightly, as she turns around and walks over him, she stops close to him, she knows for sure what kind of hunter he is and even he looks for some little holes on their necks he isn't going to find any. "So, have you decided yet?" as she talks she moves around the balcony again, being in front of him. "You will like here for sure, people are kind and warm", she emphasizes the warm word, as she was also giving him a hint she was not such stupid as he was thinking..."Yes, you will like here indeed." she nods slightly as she speaks and drinks her wine...

He set the wine glass down and looked at her, ceasing his examination of the other patrons. He knew that there were other ways for her kind to feed, it was simply expediency that most of them fed from the neck. Besides, blood was, after all, sweeter near the heart.
It was on his lips to refuse her offer, but he paused to think for a moment. If he were to take it, it would provide a ready excuse to stay around. "If there's nothing else that will present itself, then perhaps I might be interested," he said. "What terms are you offering?"
Leaning closer to her and lowering his voice to a whisper, knowing that she'd hear it easily, he added, "And before you answer, you should know that I am a dhampir. And that I am also a Vampire Hunter." With that, he straightened and awaited her reply.

She leans closer as well as she places her bare arms on the balcony, her eyes inside his.."That's going to be very interesting, we never know when a vampire will show up, right?" she doesn't smiles, her eyes turning a little going in a mix of grey and magenta, she licks her lips slowly, and caresses the retract canine with the tipof her tongue, as she smiles softly.."Food, bed, money, it is what I offer". She stands back, her eyes grey again, her face fresh and calm."Would you like more wine? Or should I get you something different? We have interesting drinks around here" she smiles a little more and finishes her wine, placing the goblet over the balcony.."Eat, maybe, hungry?"

His eyes locked with hers, a slight twisting of his features expressing quite plainly the thought You know quite well that I have as little use for food as you do without him having to say as much aloud. As a dhampir, a half-breed cross between a vampire and a human, the concentrated blood he'd ingested earlier would keep him going for at least the next day or two. He turned his gaze toward the nearly-full goblet of wine still in front of him, then shook his head as he returned his attention to her and said, "I have found that simply holding at least a glass of wine in a bar, whether you drink it or not, which I never do, helps one to blend in and socialize when necessary."
Cupping his left hand around the goblet again, he continued in his earlier whisper, "Do not fear that I am Hunting you, Ellena. I have not been contracted to end your unlife. However, even without pay, I would feel compelled to do so should you feed on any unwilling humans while I am about, even as your nominal employee. Just as it is for you, it would be wise that my condition be kept secret, however. Not many humans are altruistic enough to allow one like me to remain in the vicinity. I may not be able to turn them, but they still fear that a dhampir's self-control may slip and he or she would drain them dry of their blood. It's not unheard of, but it is much rarer than they know."
Raising his voice to a more conversational tone, he finished with, "Money, I have in plenty. All I would require is a room for payment to keep the rabble at bay and the fights to a minimum."

(Kenryo)
Day's had past since is transformation, and the road before him seemed like ages. Luckily enough a small parting gift was left to give him the strength to start his journey. Small town to small town he roamed, he found himself doing random things for the people. Hell, he had nothing better to do with his time. It was mostly mundane things, carrying heavy loads for barkeeps for free ale, or helping the tailor fix up his home in exchange for some finer clothing that actually fit him. Mortal he may be now, but his pride was still intact. Hell, he even helped a blacksmith relocate his forge. He figured gestures like this not only allowed, well... a giant to be seem as gentle and harmless but small ways of learning what he could still do. His feats of strength while vastly reduced were still enough to awe the common folks. He was fortunate that most humans didn't recognize him. For while his body had changed, his face would still be a dead give away to who he was. And if that wasn't enough, that deep voice that sounded like a battle drum was easy to pick up on.
While dealing with the tailor and the black smith, he figured this more then ever would be a fitting to for protection. He had what most people would consider a thick suit fashioned, however fortunate the smith he had been working with had enough mythril to line the coat in a chain mail. But all this was the easy part, in the past few days he has almost given out to hunger and exhaustion. But the roads while long, he hoped something would arise as some point to put him on the right path. He had also managed to find a man with a Clydesdale large enough to carry him, his feet instantly made him love this horse. "Dear god, this walking... how to mortals put up with this shit from day to day..." Was all he could mutter to himself while he had a private moment. Then travel became a little easier. Some trail rations, bags of feed for the horse and a few waterskins. This whole thing was inconvenient, but Kenryo was even surprised at himself for how fast he was catching on.... Instinct at this point, he assumed. My body knows what it needs to live, no more than any other person.
After a few days in the wilderness he came upon an Inn, approaching he dismounted and tied his horse off. Then dumped some feed within reach of it, and began petting him. "Well bud, I'll have to name you at some point. I've never had to go threw the trouble of feeding someone, with the exception of letting them drink out of me, hahaha!"He then had a self conscience moment looking around. "Great, joking with the horse." Pulling up the animal's head to look at him. "Well at least you don't make fun of my horrible humor" with that the horse licked him right in the face. "Ugh!" He backed away wiping off all the slime from his face. "I'll check on you after awhile, I think I deserve a drink after all this..." With that he walked into the Nightingale Inn.
As he walked in, he paid little to no mind to those around him. Although it didn't stop almost all the patrons from glaring at the man who practically had to crawl threw the door. He did his best to try and ignore them, but could hear a few whispers about the massive blade now openly exposed on his back. "That thing could cut two men in half at once I'd wager" One man said... "Think he's here for trouble?" Another said.
Ken simply went to a table and lowered himself onto a chair, however the fact he weighed by this point over four hundred pounds ment even further embarrassment as the chair buckled under his weight. He fell straight onto his back with a loud crash, several small things on the walls fell off and it vibrated the ground. He grunted out of displeasure as several of the patrons cracked up until Ken looked up with a stern look. It was amusing how quick most of them returned to their drinks. He then pulled a table over to a corner of the room and pulled a satchel of gold from his belt. "I'll pay for the chair and the table..." With that he griped each of the legs snapping them in half one at a time, then placed the table that was now much shorter right side up. Putting his back to the wall, he pull the table which was now perfect height for him to enjoy a meal and a drink from. "Barkeep, if you would a pitcher of your strongest ale... and I won't need a glass..." With that he sat there patiently, unaware of the unique presence in the room with him.
As he sat quietly though, he did something he hadn't done in ages. He prayed... asked for signs, guidance. Even though he knew he would never get a direct answer... Considering what typically happens to those who had fallen, this was about as grand of a chance as any of his kind could've gotten. He also slightly patted a spot on his coat, making sure the satchel filled with expensive gems was still there. He has a horde of wealth in his keep, but getting to and from would be a hassle, for the first time he had to be cautious with what he had on him. Because without this currency he could just end up starving out here. Then he realized, "And excuse me keep, might it be possible for an added fee to get two beds so it's large enough for me to sleep in? I'd prefer to not fall out of bed in the middle of the night. And I doubt your other quests would appreciate that. This, assuming your alright with me staying?"

She smiles slightly and sighs "Dukal, I don't fear to die, and I've never playing dirty even being what I am , so we don't have anyhting to worry about , I'll give you the room, you work here, what you're going to do with your nature is not a problem, I really don't care. No one is allowed to go inside my bedroom. What I do with my life is as well my problem. We are going to live here in peace. I didn't come here to have more trouble or I would stay home." Her eyes are watching him, but this time she is not smiling, when she opens her lips to speak again someone comes in, Ellena freezes, she frowns slightly and growls very low, only Dukal was able to hear it, she looks back at Dukal whispering, her lips almost not moving"I belive faith is playing with me, for a moment I swear I thought it was someone else..." She sighs..." Seems we are going to have some fun already" as she says that her eyes falls over Ken, her mind goes about blank again, she drinks her wine as she watches all the mess the man was making, rasing a brow she slowly shakes her head, it's not possible, she thinks in secret, looks like him but he is so different at same time, she watches as the man tries to make himself comfortable as he places the gold on the table she frowns, inside she was really confused, she feels thirsty remembering some frames from her past, Hans appears as the man orders, Ellena just lift her hand and the boy stop.."Don't!You go back there, just come back here if I ask...Go Hans!" She was not saying it loud but she sounds mad, the boy looks like a ghost his pale face nods and he returns to the kitchen, she looks at Dukal, "Excuse me, but I will see what that one needs", slowly she grabs the Ale bottle and looks at Dukal again, she noods and she moves over to the table, the costumers again watching as she does , more curious this time, but still their eyes were scaning her forms, she approches , inside she was also curious, she needs to see him close, can't be, after so long...her voice was husky, and her tone was secure..."Good evening, Sir" she places the bottle on the table and looks inside the man's eyes, "I am Ellena, here is your Ale", Ellena was really disconnected now, he looked like Ken so much, her bright eyes mixing colors as she says again, "I will ask Hans to prepare your room...Do you need food for your horse?"...Damn, how is she going to explain she knows he has a horse if it is outside...hopefully he will not even thinking about it...or she will need to lie...she smiles trying to making him forget it already..."I will ask the room...and don't worry about the table and chair, happens...keep your gold"stupid , she did it again, she was really nervous now, the man's face was so...but she feels the heart beats and the blood running ...can't be...she smiles again trying to distract the man for her knowing already he had gold inside the satchel even because it could be something else...fate was really laughing at her...

He sat quietly mulling over the trip so far. Then watched a beauty stopped the lad from bringing him his beverage..."Well, I'm used to this reaction by now" Muttering softly to himself. As she approached he kept an eye on her, he could quickly tell something was... well different. He may not be able to walk into a room and sense everything but he's been around long to be perceptive of his surroundings. He responded politely to everything "Good even, M'lady." He then locked eyes with her and noticed changing colors. He smiled softly, and slightly turned his head.. "Thank you for the drink." With that he poured some down his throat, he always drank for the flavor but GOD was this refreshing. It amazed him the sheer subtle differences from being an angel to a mortal. Food had flavor, ale quenched his thirst (If only for a moment).
He then sat the ale down and turned his look back to her. "Wow, picking up on the animal outside? No my dear, he is well fed for the moment. I thank you for your hospitality." He looked around at the mess that he made and chuckled in that deep booming way he does. "Well I will at least clean up after myself, and that I insist. " Looking back into her eyes "You have unique eyes, they remind me of an old friend... She was beautiful, much like you. She also was a gracious host, much like yourself." He leaned towards her to try and whisper he was going to take a small shot in the dark, maybe a small obscure question might trigger something. "Is it the heartbeat?" He whispered cocking an eyebrow to her with a half smile. Something about the way she walked and carried herself, and those eyes. It could've been in his head, maybe... But still part of him had hoped...

His dark eyes flicked toward the disturbance in the back of the room, then one fine brow lifted slightly. He'd never seen the man before, but something about his face triggered a remembered description given to him by his deceased younger half-brother, Drokon. Drokon, himself, never mentioned having met the being he'd described, but had seen him at a distance during the Saluthi Wars. Thinking about that triggered another memory, more recent, from the Ludious Wars. Something about him brought to mind Shakaar, something in the way the man spoke, the way he carried himself, that reminded him of one that had fought at the side of the Angel of Death against the Dark One that had threatened all reality. Yet, this newcomer also seemed ill at ease in his own skin, as though not used to being who he was.
He turned on the stool, facing the man fully, allowing his cloak to part and the ivory hilt of his sword to be seen. The dragon head carved on the hilt would be recognizable to the man, if he truly was whom he thought he might be. However, he did not intend to reveal the man's true nature if, as it seemed, he was in different form for whatever reason, perhaps to hide his identity. And, even if he was wrong, it would be for the best that he keep an eye on things. The amount the man was to be drinking would likely intoxicate him before long.

She was really worried now. He just talked about Nathallie, well he just talked about her. Ellena smiles very nervous and shivers as he gets closer to whisper...as well she could hear behind her Dukal thoughts, filling her mind of information. It was really Ken, but huge and mortal...she nods and shakes her head slightly "No, MyLord...Since Icame to the woods I've contract an allergy to pollen, that's the reason my eyes are like that." If she was a mortal by now she would be sweating and blushing..."Do not worry about the table ...Soon someone will be here and will clean things up...excuse but I must to attend the others." she doesn't smile this time. Turns away and walks over to the balcony, she gives a worried look over Dukal as she murmurs..." You got a job and it already started, ask people to go away or to their rooms, we are going to have a storm." Just aftet her words a thunder can be heard, she goes over to the back and desappears. She finds Hans " Go outside, there is a horse, take it to a safety place, then prepare a large bedroom, the one with that large bed would be fine, make it ready. Check the doors as soon as all in here go away, Dukal will help to lock the place, he works here now. Prepare my "bottle" and take it to my room. I do not feel good right now." Ellena grows as she walks away, the boy sighs, Ellena becomes furious, returning behind him she whispers, her hand around his neck as she pulls the boys ears to her lips."Do not sigh on me...Did you hear me?" She leaves again, the boy was terrify and walks to the main room, he Looks at Dukal, seems like a ghost, very pale he rubs his neck now very red..."She asked me to come here..." and walks outside to get the horse and start his obligations...Ellena slams the doors and places both hand on her head walking around the room thinking.." What am I going to do now? Damn Ken, why here? "
