She couldn't believe that, pulling her hand away she slaps him very hard, she was shocked, "Damn you" she growls and practically jumps over him, sharp fangs ripping his flesh and she drinks from him, desperatly, but she knows she doesn't want him to die, as she feeds herself, with the same speed she grabbed him she pulls him away and bites her wrist .."Heal yourself" she offers it to him saying no more. with the other hand she cleans the blood over her lips..."Why you need to be so stubborn?" she shakes her head not believing he was doing this again, even becoming a mortal, his heart and nature didn't change at all. She knows now she was going to have to deal with him, calling her Nathallie or she will have to ignore him, treating him as she treats Dukal and the others. And Ken will have to share her with all the others as well even he doesn't like it. Before he was used to the life they had, with all the people around her and all the ones who needed her to survive , but now, it was not the same situation they had, but she isn't going to change her nature again, she had change enough to scape, she has Hans, and the some usual costumers around, her wrist is lifted as she waits for him to drink it.." Don't be stubborn again, drink it Ken, I am asking you".

He felt the slap of a vampire for the first time as a mortal, and to be frank the only thing that enter his mind was an abrupt "HOLY SHIT!" The following was exactly as he remembered, the bite was something euphoric to him. He even for being an angel always love the sensation, the giving and never being closer to a person when your that vulnerable. After she pulled away, he let out a soft gasp. It was strange being pulled around the way he was, in his heart he knew he could resist. But why would he, it's what he asked for and wanted. As she ripped open her own wrist and asked him to drink he looked to her, he gave her that same stubborn look for a moment. "What if I was ready to go? Right now..." He said for only a moment, then grabbed her wrist and began to drink from it. As he did, he could slowly feel the wound in his neck closing. As it did, he held on just a little longer before releasing it. With that he simply plopped back down on the blanket, grabbing a corner to start to wipe the remains clean. He then threw up a half cocked smirk before wiping any of it off... "Well, wanna lick the bowl?" He always wondered what it was like to be a vampire... To have that bloodlust for something.

Inside her heart the sensation was great, an exctasy only Ken would be able to bring her, the way he was always ready for her, for a moment his look brought her angry , she would force him to drink, but she didn't want it to be so harsh, so traumatic, but he drinked and when he did she could spend all nigh long feeding him as well, the sensation of the warm lips touching her skin, the feeling was amazing. The tongue touching her flesh so cold and the way Ken was , even in those situatuon so sarcatic, she wanted to laugh, but she didn't , well, she didn't in a way he could know she was , shaking her head she rolls her eyes and approches of him, her lips almost touching his as she whispers.."I hope for our good you know you are from now on my employee, as Hans and Dukal...Make yourself at home Ken" she smiles , a beautiful and mean smile.."Another shot, Sir?" she walks over to the bottle she had on the floor and grabs it going over to the bar, another glass would be needed since she had broke the other one, filling it she drinks, looking thirtsy but both of them knew that Ale itself wouldn't make the same effect..."I never lick the bowl, I only like the main meal, I am a lady" she bows and chuckles..."Wanna ask Hans? He is a new and great meal when I need him" The morning was appearing outside and suddenly all the velved courtains were already closed, the main room goes dark again...she looks at him.."So MyLord...another shot?" she lifts the bottle and smiles

He laughed at her reaction, falling back "Yes, I'll take another... to have after this one!" He dropped back and began to wipe himself off, laughing softly about the whole thing. He asked for a second, so he figured he'd began polishing this one off. Noticing the blood on his coat, he unbuttoned his coat, and then his shirt. Pulling them off exposing his upper torso, the man looked like he was carved from marble. That much remained the same. "well, those need cleaning..." As he laid there continuing to pour the bottle in his throat as he laid back. "Employee... never liked the sound, but I'll accept the position. But just know, there will be times that I have to venture out. This mortal thing while fun, won't last forever if I have anything to say about it." With that he shot back the rest of the bottle and put it to the side. He stretched out and then looked up to her smiling. "Care to relax now?"

She lifts her brow and nods, then after grabbing the bottle to hand it to him she stops, watching him as he takes his coat and shirt, shaking her head as she sighs.."You know , you can't sleep in the same place my costumers come to eat, soon they will be here to breakfeast and lunch, it's kinda weird you there sleeping almost naked, remember you are a regular human now, you must sleep, even you are strong enough...talking about it would be nice using all this muscles, you can cut the wood for the kitchen, and take care of the animals, speaking of it, soon you will need to be awake, they like fresh milk and vanilla" she smiles at him, but he knows she is forcing it. Walking over him she hands him the bottle, as she watches the man laid there..it was her Ken but so different from the other one, seems he was more confident and stubborn , as well he didn't have the same fear he had before about death, Ken for more than once had saved her life feeding her , she sits down close to him, but she sits on the floor. She drinks as she speaks.."I lost you and you as well lost me, we aren't the same even we lead ourselves at the same situation we used to have before, " she sighs " somehow, there were people in the middle of our way that were able to change everything. I will never forget what we were and I don't know I want to remember what we are now...Even you make jokes , laugh at me, you are not the same. Even you were still the angel who used to be with me in terrible moments of my life, you wouldn't be the same as well...Even the taste of your blood changed...I've been feeding from humans and you don't taste like one.." she shrugs, well she was tenting him, the same way he makes to her. She knows she can be mean when she want. And now she wanted so bad to hurt him even it wasn't going to rip his flesh and bleed...

He sat up as she started listing work for him. As she finished he placed his index finger on her lips and broke a soft smile. "Yes, life split us apart, but it also brought us back together. But as you know I'm stubborn, I fight for what I want... I fight for those I love." With that he stood up "As you wish, I'll clean up my... I guess you could say mess here. But two things, one I'm here because I want to be... and two I'll never be a servant. Protect you, protect this place and its upkeep. But I'll never be a servant... After everything I've done so people in this town can draw breathe I am above that." The statement did it's job, it not only provoked him it outright insulted him. He grabbed his large bag, his weapon and his bloody clothes. And turned and began to walk towards the room that was left out for him. His posture had changed slightly, his back was arched, his shoulders were squared and bulging. He restrained himself, hoping she wasn't by any means serious, and he was trying to contain it.

she shivers as he touches her lip, as he stoods and starts to speak she knows she had hit the target, she sighs and stands as well a little ashamed for being so mean to him, she watches him as he leaves to his room ...she says nothing else, slowly she drinks and lets him to go for now, he needs some sleep as well she wants to be alone, even her desire is to run over him, his company always brought her join, he makes her laugh. She finishes her drink placing the glass over a table and then she sighs, slowly leaving to her room as well. As she closes the door after her, for a moment she has the urge of going to his room, he wouldn't be able to see she had been there veiling his sleep, but at same time it could be dangerous since he had already shown her she had no power over him. Taking her clothes off she lays on her bed covering herself, closing her eyes as she knows it is going to be a great adventure for them both. She moves as she watches the ceiling wishing somehow that he would be the same urge she does. The sun was already reaching the window, she could feel by the warmth inside her room, she didn't realize the rain had already stopped, she smiles glad he is here now, close to her again as she whispers.."No, Ken, you will never be a servant, that is for sure.."closes her eyes as she thinks about him, his taste and all the feelings those moments from tonight bring back to her.."Good night Ken"..she smiles again holding the pillow hard against her.

As he cleared the door of the room, which in itself was it's own challenges he turned pushing the door closed. As soon as it latched, he pressed his head against the wall above it. He sat there for a moment and just dropped everything right where he stood. He lifted his right hand, pressing it to the door for just a moment. "She's different, but still the same... no matter how hard she tries to hide it." He stood there for a the better part of an hour just thinking. What brought him to this point... Why did it take him this long to come back. He reached out to the doorknob, then balled up his fist tightly and sighed. This had been an overwhelming evening, to put it mildly. He wanted to go down the hall, but he knew that to much for the first night was a bad idea. He undressed, and laid across the large bed left for him. "This is where it'll all start, this meeting is to random to be an act of chance." He turned over, facing in the direction he knew she'd be at. "Sleep well... Nathalie." With that he took a deep breath, allowed himself to loosen up and drift away. Two days of being on the road, plus today's excitement was overwhelming. Now that he had a second to breath and relax his eyes grew heavy, thoughts of what tomorrow might bring filled his head. Either way, he had a base to start from and a part of his family back. Even if she was fighting him every step of the way. He'd have it no other way.

Barely five hours after he'd laid down, Dukal's eyes snapped open, clear despite his repose. Without preamble, he sat up on the bed and swung his legs to the floor, standing. Most of his type would have needed a much longer rest to store up reserves of strength to face the full strength of the day's sun, but he was definitely a cut above the normal dhampir.
Smoothly, he pulled his cloak around his shoulders, fastening it below his throat, before wrapping his sword belt around his waist again. Leaving his hood down, he went to the door and opened it, stepping through and shutting it quietly. Just as silently, he strode down the hallway and the stairs, pausing at their foot to glance at both Kenryo and Nathallie's doors. He knew now who they were, what they'd said, confirming in his mind that the large man was, indeed, Shakaar's kindred, yet changed somehow. As for Nathallie, he'd never encountered her before, though he'd heard a tale or two from a mutual acquaintance.
Even now, he could still scent blood in the air from their activities the night before, could still see a few drops here and there of blackening blood they'd missed. However, since he also had been able to hear that it was more or less consensual, even deliberately invoked by Kenryo, it was none of his affair.
He looked around at the still-empty common room. From what Nathallie had said, she expected there to be customers even this early in the morning, yet nobody was here. He figured that it had to do with his own actions the night before. Normally, he wouldn't have been so open about himself, let alone his abilities, but he could not explain what it was that motivated him to do so. He was simply acting on what his instincts had said to be the best course of action. And, what was it that prompted him to accept employment, and from a vampire of all things? What was keeping him here? Some intangible feeling, one that he could only name as reluctance kept him from moving on. He had no Hunt here, that was certain.
He moved about the common room silently, using the toe of his boot to draw dust over the blood drops to both help in congealing the vitae, to aid in its cleaning later, and to conceal them from sight. As he went about cleaning the room up, he thought to himself about how he'd once before taken employment as an "enforcer" of sorts of a tavern's rules of conduct, but that had been when he was on a Hunt. He'd tracked the vampire to a town that he'd determined that it would be more than wise to conceal his own nature, and had needed a "cover" for the trap he'd laid for his target. The vampire, he'd been able to find out, prowled that particular bar for his victims every few nights, and thus had had to work there for several days before spotting his quarry.
Dukal moved outside without a sound, then strode over to where a pile of wood awaited splitting. Easily, he picked up three large sections of logs and lightly tossed them into the air. Eyes locked onto them as they tumbled first up, then down, his sword then went into motion, leaving behind a but a single streak of silver, yet each log fell cut into quarters. He continued with this, thinking of how that particular Hunt had ended: the vampire, confident in having charmed a local man and was leaving the bar, coquettishly leaning on his arm, leaving her bosom exposed nearly to the nipples in her low-cut blouse. Dukal, following unobserved behind them. Once in an alley, she'd exposed her true nature, fangs sprouting from her lips as she kissed the nape of the man's neck. Before she could sink them into the man's flesh, she'd stopped, sensing the bone-chilling aura Dukal exuded. She turned just as her intended victim fell into a faint, and just in time to catch sight of the flash of metal as Dukal's sword drove into her heart. As she fell back from it, the sword then swept around, her last sight being her body falling away from her point of view as her head separated from it.
Though the body had fallen atop the man's, Dukal left it there as it decomposed to dust, the clothing all that hinted as to what had occurred. Leaving all behind, save for a signet ring he had picked out of the crumbling body to take back to his employer as proof of the vampire's demise, he left the village as he'd come in to it...
Breaking from his memories, he looked about at the wood he'd cut and sheathed his sword. He began picking up the wood, stacking them easily in his left arm. He then took the wood and stacked it beside the door, four cords at a time until all that he'd cut...a rather large amount...was stored. There was enough for many a long, cold night by the time he was finished. He then stood with his back to the door, looking out at the horizon, unblinking.
What was it he was still waiting for here?

Ellena appears in the main hall and smiles as she sees the man watching the horizon, fruits and flowers filling the place making Dukal feel she was there, her red hair up with lots of little white flowers all over it as a crown, even being a vampire the sunlight cause her no harm since Damion gave her the necklace she is wearing, looking like a ruby, but was a drop of the Royal blood of her Clan. even he feels her there his thoughts were very interesting to her, she observes the man standing there as well how many stories he had to tell her about his trips around...As Nathallie she had one or two as well, but she knows already he knew how particular was the way she was cursed. Damion and her Sire Amatsu were two men and as well their life were full of sex, drinks and slaves, she couldn't learn different, but Nath was not an assassin, she didn't like to kill, not even make people feel pain. All she did with the slaves she bought was gave them a home and food and they used to serve her with their blood and love, she needs it, she needs to have men all around, as a human she didn't thou, but as a vampire the cursed blood of Amatsu raised her this way. Bared feet and long white dress covering her body, the details of the dress very country as a regular girl, not fancy, she doesn't need it. She was a regular woman after all even she looked like to have royal blood, she has money enough, gold, rings, precious stones, jewls. her eyes were as green as the leaves outside, she sips from the cup she has in her hands full of "wine" (blood) as she used to name it. With a calm and sweety voice she says..."Good morning, Sir. Did you rest?" she sips from the cup again, and smiles licking her lips..."Thank you for the wood.." she nods slightly as she walks over him and places herself close to him as well looking outside..."I am asking the same thing you know, why did you accept to stay?" she doesn't look to him as the sun makes her hair even more red..

He didn't even turn to look at the woman beside him. He didn't smell anything like Time-Bewitching Incense burning anywhere, but he knew that there were other means for a vampire to be able to walk about in the light of the sun. "I don't know," he answered her, eyes still on the horizon. "Something drew me here, and is keeping me from leaving. It's as if there is some focus of...well, not to put too fine of a melodramatic point on it...destiny located here. Something that I must help with seeing through. It has less to do with me, I think. Perhaps our friendly giant in there is the focus. Perhaps it is you, Ellena. I do not yet know."
Finally, he turned to face her fully as he continued, "You know I heard all that occurred earlier between the two of you. Know also that I will keep your secret as-is for the time being. Who and what you call yourself is no concern of mine, nor are the reasons. But, as a piece of friendly advice, I will say a couple of things. One, do not grow attached to Kenryo, particularly as he is now. He is in flux, between one world and another. He does not realize it, but Shakaar confided in me that he knew, even before the war against Ludious moved to its final stages, just before Shakaar himself was killed, that Kenryo was destined to walk a similar path as the one he'd taken. What he meant by that, I do not know, but I suspect that he may eventually have to make a choice between what he is now, staying with you, or becoming what he once was, albeit with a greater sense of the scope of his responsibilities. As for my other bit of advice..."
He broke off, turning once more toward the sun's disk rising full over the surrounding countryside before finishing, "Never deny your true self. That is the path to destruction."

She smiles as he answers her question, a soft smile and then she looks up into his eyes when he turns to face her, her eyes into his, she listens with no reaction and keeps looking at him as the second advice comes, she blinks and nods moving her eyes away as well..."I know you heard, you know I do not deny, I just hate when people realize I am not what they thought I was, hurts me, I feel pain, my entire flesh and bones aches as they were spanking me, somehow the look they have to me does this.I moved here, I change my factures, the color of my hair, my name..Nathallie Demetry is someone I really want to be dead, but I am a coward. I fear death. I like this world, the plants, colors, I am not a night walker, somehow I couldn't leave my human heart behind." she smiles and looks at him. "About our giant friend, it will be difficult to let him go again, but I understand you men, with your fights and wars and protection to the other you care for. I won't force anything, I'll let fate act as it wants to.." she nods and sighs as she looks away again..."Thank you Dukal, we don't know why you are here, but I am very glad I had the chance to meet you, it's a wird position we are now, a hunter and a vampire." chuckles, " I think that since you are here already we can live well and with harmony. I will respect you and your nature" she licks her lips again. "While you are here, make it your home, more than servants and I need friends, for the time you will stay I think there is no problem to be friends..." she looks up to him again..."I am a vampire, but I never had someone to teach me how it was, after Amatsu Sired me he was too busy with his boys, and Damion, all he taught me was how to feed in a speacial way, I know I don't need to explain, you are a wise man. I will enjoy taking advices from you, learn never is too much" she smiles and looks away again resting her head on the door watching some kids far away she closes her eyes as she hears they laughing , she smiles.

Not taking his eyes off of the sun, though surely it would be causing pain, if not blindness by now, he said softly, "By that, I meant to accept all those things that have led you to where and what you are now. "Nathallie Demetry" may be dead to you, but she is still a part of what brought you here. We have all made decisions, choices, that have brought us to this place and time, good or ill. If you deny what you consider your weakest part of yourself, that very denial will become your weakness. For instance, if you were forced tomorrow to make a choice you once had to make as Nathallie, your very denial of her may lead you to making a choice that will end in your destruction...if not the death of those you love."
Finally, he looked away from the sun and gazed directly at her, saying, "Could you make such a choice, even as Nathallie? Even now? Could you choose between your own death and that of a loved one, if that sort of choice became necessary? Let's widen that scope a little to include the entire world being in the balance. Could you watch someone you love die, if it meant the world could continue its existence? Nathallie may not have been able to, but the choices she made led to you, now. Her strength to make those choices, whether you think them now to be good or bad, or weak or strong, is what gives you strength now. So, I ask again, could you watch, say, Kenryo be put to death if it meant that you and the rest of the world could continue onward? Or, would you fight against that fate, even if it meant your own demise, so that both would continue? Or do you have the courage to truly accept fate?"

She feels his eyes on her, she doesn't open hers eyes until he finishes talk. She then drink the 'wine', all of it and licks her lips, she shakes her head as she thinks for awhile, she looks up at him, her eyes inside his deeply, for a moment she remains this way, thinking about all those words he just had said. She blinks then and sighs, nodding slightly she turns away and walks over to some desk placing her glass down and this way she was giving her back to him, she loks down at her fingers as they touch the wooden table, his voice fiiling her head, slowly, her hair changes color, becoming so black it was almost dark blue, her eyes were now purple amix of blue and red, her body and the tanned flesh was the same, all over her back she has a tattoo of a dragon, it goes from her neck and down as its tail goes around her right tigh, but of course the dress not allow him to see it , only her neck and part of her back since her dress was with handles, but he was able to watch it appearing as it was being drawning just now, after a little while she turns away again and turns away to look at him.."You are right, I am Nathallie Demetry, even she is not the same she was before, this is what I am , and about your question, I would die to save the one I love if was necessary Dukal, even fearing death as much as I do. But I wouldn't die because of others I don't know, I am not a savior." a little smile appears on her lips, "Maybe you are, Ken is one, but I am not a savior, and not pretend to be. But if fate give me the chance to fight it I will not for them all" she points outside" but for the ones I care for" she sighs and walks over him.."I am Nathallie Demetry, this is the one I don't want to remember anymore, as Ellena, I can surely say she wouldn't die for no one, she would leave again and change again, and open another place somewhere else" She smiles gently, and with a regular tone, she looks inside his eyes, he is able to know she wants him to say the truth, because as a hunter, he knew Ellena and Nathallie, he has this power only by looking inside their eyes.."Tell me Dukal, Ellena or Nathallie?" She doesn't want to know which one ismore beautiful , of course not, she wanted him to help her to be what her trully nature was, and by experience he was able to help her with that.

Dukal stood silent, looking as though he were listening to the very voice of the wind. After a few moments like that, he shook his head slightly, still looking at her. "I cannot answer that, only you can. I am no teacher, let alone a savior. I am a Hunter. I am a killer. That is what I was made to be. I had to find that in myself by myself. I cannot change what I was born to be. I cannot change what led me to this place. I cannot change what made me, me. I can only change who I am from this moment forward. I can choose to accept the things that have made me into what I am, and accept the further changes that will come, or I can reject them. I have chosen to accept who I was, who I am. But, as for who I will be?" He shrugged lightly. "I do not yet know that. I know what I am destined to be. Do I accept that? The time for that decision has not come, nor is it likely to do so for a millennium. You...I say that you should accept the same."
He looked up at the blue sky, nodding at a passing cloud as he said, "See that cloud up there? It's small, faint, barely a puff-ball of moisture. Yet, it could dissipate, becoming nothing, or it could build until it becomes a storm, affecting the entire area. It could join with others of its kind, becoming a storm system that sweeps across all the land, changing many things in its wake. As it is now, it could provide a small bit of passing shade to cool a farmer's brow."
He looked back at Nathallie, adding, "Like humans. Like those of our kindred. It all depends on how much influence one has. One man destroyed an entire world, threatened to do the same here. One single, solitary figure caused the largest calamity since the beginning of life on this planet, was the largest threat ever faced by anyone, anywhere. To stop him, it took the sacrifice of many, even that of the man who halted his danger. A single figure was that dangerous. A single figure was the one to put him down. Each of us, even you, has the potential to affect many things."
